We would like to welcome all of our gifted learners back to school! A letter has been sent home today with students reminding them to keep an eye on the blog for upcoming enrichment opportunities. I will be support the students that would like to part take in any of these opportunities.

1) Virtual Ventures will be hosting Go Eng Girl again this year for girls in grades 7-10 on Saturday, October 14, 2017 (9:00am-2:00pm)!
Go ENG Girl is a unique opportunity for female students in Grades 7 to 10 and their parents to learn about careers in the exciting field of engineering and technology. We are very excited to be hosting a Panel of Women from Shopify to answer questions and speak to what it’s like to be a women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) at one of Canada’s most successful tech companies!

2)Carleton University's Math Enrichment Centre. Math Connections in Arts, Science and Beyond, for Grade 8-10 students. Course starts September 26, 2017 and runs until April 2018.
