An Interesting Grade 7/8 opportunity!!

The ABC Ottawa team is pleased to share with its members some upcoming children's workshops.

As the ABC Take-off program is on hiatus (for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016), the ABC Ottawa chapter is offering Bright Lights workshops for children.

Our first set of workshops will be held on Sunday, November 29, starting at 1pm, at the MakerSpace North (250 City Centre, Bay 216 - on the second level). The workshops will have children tinkering, trying out 3D printing, and building motorized cars! These workshops are intended for students ages 5-7, 7-10, and 10-12. Space is limited, so you are encouraged to register soon to secure a place!

If you are interested to learn more and/or register – please see:
Information on future Bright Lights workshops for Spring will be sent to ABC Ottawa members when more information is available.

Please feel free to contact ABC Ottawa at this email or at abcottawaevents@gmail.com with any questions.

Warm regards,

An Interesting Opportunity!

Good morning,

I hope everything is going well! I wanted to send you a quick reminder that Global Vision will be in Ontario very soon and we’re inviting Immaculata High School students to join us!

The Regional Round Table series provide young Canadians (aged 16-25) with unique opportunities to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to excel in the global economy while increasing their knowledge of and attachment to Canada’s rich heritage.

This Round Table will be an exciting opportunity for your students to build their leadership and entrepreneurial skills; connect with leaders from business, government, education and community; and work with their peers from across the region to develop innovative solutions to local challenges. This is an opportunity for students to set themselves apart from the competition while getting the experience that matters!

More details, a draft agenda, and the registration portal can be found online at http://www.globalvision.ca/roundtables . I hope that you will share this exciting opportunity with your students. If you would like a promotional poster for advertising, please let me know.

Should you or your students have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly or connect with one of my colleagues at our national toll free line: 888.829.2838.
